Junior Gammons!: Santa!

Third post for the day! And the last of the pre-Chritmas round up. As with the last two, this is just a dump from my photo collection!

The trip to see Santa was more successful than last year! That is, Louis didn't burst into tears! We went to the Ritz, and saw their gingerbread house, and Louis sat on Santa's knee. Much mutual suspicion in the second pic, I think.

I'm glad so many of you have seen Louis 'live' and in the flesh, as it were - in these pics he often looks grumpy or out of sorts. He really is a smiley boy. (Sorry about how big my ears look here. I think that the camera has added 10lbs. To my ears.)

DMac has this thing for moons, and they've been showing up a lot this past couple of weeks. First Louis comes home from nursery with one, then there's on on the wall of the play room at Bennigans. It's a sign (that I should drop my trousers.)

Like a weed.

Big shopping day on Christmas Eve. Off to a very odd mall (Parco Mall, for you locals) to check up on some pics we'd had done. It was odd for several small reasons.

- I got QR4000 from an ATM. In QR50 bills?

- it was deserted. How do these things survive?

- there was an interaction between a pedestrian and a car's occupants in the car park that looked odd. If I were in England, I'd say it was a drug deal.

- the food court was almost deserted, and was genuinely only serving member of staff from the mall. We'd been there 10 minutes when we realised that wasn't all, the food court was only serving food to staff members form the food places in the food court!

- the kids play area had a game, a gun game, where you took pot shots at a pirate. Good to see them keeping up with the times - what's wrong with Captain Jack Sparrow?!
