Right - it's about 10 days since the last post, sorry! So here's a catch up - loads of pics, with little captions, rather than a long narrative! Hope that's ok!
Big news is that Elizabeth continues to grow, and eat and (usually!) sleep! She's quite nocturnal. (In fact, a couple of nights ago, she kept one or the other of us (we take it in shifts!) until 4am!) But she's lovely. But last night, she did seven hours between feeds, and she was wonderful on Christmas day, chilling out and letting us prep the meal, then enjoy the meal!
Louis continues to be the best brother! He's really caring, and looks after Elizabeth wonderfully. He'll kiss her forehead at the end of the day, and is just lovely. Here he is with Kara.
And here's Elizabeth with Alison and Marie.
We feel really bad - we aren't bathing E as much as much as we did L! But we are managing it, and Louis helps, too!
She's growing, too - this pic is at three weeks, I think, so that's a good 200gm over the birth weight.
Oh - a random photo here, not related to anything. Louis eating a slice of lemon! He loves it - he pulls a little face when eating it, but carries on happily!
A couple of weeks ago, M and I had a lovely afternoon out. Kevin Spacey was in Doha, performing in Richard III, directed by Sam Mendes - quite a pedigree! It was amazing. It was staged in the QNCC - the big building on campus that looks like a tree/exhaust manifold/lungs! We had seats up in the circle, but had a good view. The performance was great - a little hammy, but well done. Nice music & percussion. Here's M looking at the...
...spider! It's by the same artist who did one for the Tate modern. ("That looks good - we'll have one!", someone must have said!)
And finally for this post, the tree! Louis loved playing with the box it came in, of course, but we really enjoyed putting it up, and it happily glows in the corner of our lounge.
More soon!
